Halloween Celebration


99 spooky folks--kids and older ones too--enjoyed the celebration at Hiwan last night. Prizes, story telling, great crafts, and goodies for all. The witches' fingers and hats were all gone by the end of the night.

$15 includes all materials and instruction.

Felting
November 2 at 1pm
$5 covers materials and instruction to make felted holiday ornaments. Bring size US 10.5 or 11 knitting needles. Basic knitting skills required.

Gift Bag
November 8 at 1pm
$5 includes all materials, pattern, and instruction for an adorable bag for wrapping holiday gifts.

Wreath Making
November 29 at 10am
$5 includes all materials and instruction. Make a wreath to take home and one for the museum.

Pine Cone Wreaths
December 6 at 1pm
$5 includes all materials and instructions. Learn to make pine cone wreaths with native materials.

Halloween at Hiwan

Splendors of the Southwest Exhibit






The extremely popular Splendors of the Southwest exhibit has been extended into November. The exhibit features jewelry from the collection of the Humphrey Museum.

2006 Quilt Festival





Saturday, September 30, a beautiful warm, sunny day in Evergreen, Colorado. The work of over 75 quilters was showcased at Hiwan Homestead. The event, organized by Susan Grannell was a huge success for the musem.
